One Person Dead Following Three-Car Accident

A three-car accident happened just before midnight when a car stalled in the
middle of the freeway. Moments later, a Dodge truck rear-ended that car, setting
it on fire. A third car hit the first two vehicles, critically injuring the
driver. The driver of the third car was taken to a local hospital, where he
later died. Police arrested the driver of the truck, which was the second
vehicle, on suspicion of drunk driving.

and rising student enrollments.

like any other day on the road. But all too often, drivers end up in the
emergency room. That's because July 4th is the deadliest day on the roads.
According to the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, each year on this
holiday, 161 people are killed in crashes. That's about 40 percent more crash
deaths than occur on an average day.
While July 4th is the deadliest day on the roads, the second worst day is
July 3rd followed by July 2nd.
